Public Transportation VIA SEPTA
Fare is $2.00 for buses, subways, and trolleys. Transfers are $.60. Operators are unable to make change. Tokens are available at the Penn Bookstore and select subway kiosks. A bag of 10 tokens is $13.00 but smaller denominations are also available for purchase.
To and From Center City:
Bus - Use the 42, 21, 40 routes. Catch the 40 on Spruce Street, the 21 on Chestnut Street, and the 42 on Spruce Street or from Chestnut Street below 33rd to go to Center City. For return buses, catch the 42 or 21 anywhere on Walnut Street, or the 40 on Lombard.
Subway-Surface Trolley - Catch it from 36th & Sansom Streets or 37th & Spruce Streets, take any eastbound car to get to Center City.
Returning to Penn, catch Route 10, 11, 13, 34, or 36 at various locations.
Subway a.k.a. the EL (blue coded) - The Market-Frankford subway line runs along Market Street and stops at 34th and 40th Streets. Take the eastbound trains to get to Center City, and the westbound to return to Penn.

LUCY - "Loop through University City" A SEPTA-operated bus making multiple stops around Penn campus and serving 30th Street Station, Monday-Friday from 6:10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
